Happy Sunday friends, hope your day has started gentle and kind. Little Kimmy has us set up in the paint room for the day even brought down food so the only reason to leave is for the bathroom, which she nagged hubby about putting in a loo downstairs.

Lovely Em, hope the flood waters have moved on and that you don't have any damage. The sun has been shinning here for a couple of days now and is hot as HELL. How are you doing? Last week was a nightmare, every day but Tuesday we had appiontments and slept all afternoon Friday after our appiontment. I am looking forward to the easter break as it will be only one appiontment a week for 3 weeks, I am going to enjoy the break. @Emelia8

I'm looking forward to seeing whatever masterpieces you and Kimmy manage to create.  Hope you can share, when they are ready for an unveiling. 💓🌼

Thanks for asking Izzy ... I am doing okay.  The floods in my area receded fairly quickly once the 6 day constant heavy rain finally ceased abruptly on Tuesday night.  The rain and subsequent major flooding moved further south to the Sydney area after that.  No damage in my immediate area, although the roads into town are a major mess. And the roads within the town are also dreadful, where the flooding inundated large areas of our main streets.  We also have the main bridge into the bigger town (where I do shopping, chemist and medical apts) still closed to traffic due to structural damage. When we had whole houses, shipping containers, farm animals and everything else including the kitchen sink floating down the river banging up against the side of the bridge, its little wonder there is damage. Not sure when it will reopen at this stage, but I hope its soon.  Because at the moment the only way into that town and other small towns further inland, is via my little local village.  So there are queues going through there every day ... people heading into town for work, supplies etc.

Its good that you have some sunshine again, but it sounds like its really hot.  And thats not so good.  Probably still a bit steamy and humid too after the rain.  

Sounds as though last week was a tough one for you with so many appointments, and you well and truly earned that Friday afternoon sleep.  Both hubby and I also get a bit of a break from medical appointments around Easter too.  So, like you, I'm looking forward to that.

Ha ha .. sweet little Kimmy ... I have to agree with you that a BIG bowl of icecream can help with major upsets.  🍨 

I do hope that our very dear mutual friend @Anastasia can also gain some comfort from doing that. 😊💕

I'm really sorry @Bellarose75 that the lockdown means a split family for you. Hoping its only the 3 days, and families are not separated over Easter. 😔🌷
