Re: My Mosaic

@Snowie @Jynx  my arts and craft group didn’t end up being cancelled! I was so pleased to get out of the house and be around people. I even talked a little bit! They had a casual one who helped to facilitate’ group, although he pretty much just sat there. I helped myself to card making stuff and as others arrived, they just followed. So card making is what everyone did. Here are a few that I made…

I went and had my bloods done this morning by myself too. @Eve7  always think of you when I need to ‘put my big girl pants on’ and do something outside my comfort zone.

pdoc appointment was ok too. Short appointment. I then went home and did a few things before going out again to pick up daughter from after school care…

hope you’ve all had an ok day?

Re: My Mosaic

Awesome craft @Bow !

So glad to hear from you! I was looking for your posts to reply to 🙂 Glad you posted.

Re: My Mosaic

So glad to hear that your group wasn't cancelled @Bow

Those cards are really good.

Well done on getting your bloods done, especially that you were alone. Thats a proud moment there.

Have you got much on tonight or just an easy night?

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow omg yessss more art!! I'm so glad to hear the group went ahead!!

Oh I love those cards!! Very cottagecore 😍

Good stuff pushing out of the comfort zone to tick the bloods box!! I know how hard that box can be to tick sometimes.

I have! Woke up and read for a while, which is a little unusual for me cos my brain takes at least an hour or two to 'load' when I first wake up 😅 Been reading these INCREDIBLE books, first was called Polysecure and second (that I'm reading now) is called Polywise. They're oriented towards folks practicing consensual non-monogamy (CNM), but the information in them about attachment theory, relationship trauma, navigating tricky conversations, dealing with jealousy and primal panic, conflict management, all of it, is soooo relevant to all humans! So much so that I reckon it's worth reading them both even if you never intend to practice CNM.

What you up to this evening? By the way, I'm guessing your mum will be away over the weekend, no? Does that mean no market?

Re: My Mosaic

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Eve7  👋  I’ll wave too! Sydney is gonna be warm tomorrow btw

hey @tyme  hows your day?

@Snowie @Jynx  not really up to much tonight. Just watching tv. Waiting for bedtime to arrive.

@Jynx  you read a lot? Wish I could. I’d like to read. But my brain doesn’t remember/process much and by the time I get to the end of the paragraph I’ve often forgotten what I read.

Re: My Mosaic

I’m glad Sydney will be warm @Bow as it’s been cold and wet here the past two days . I don’t do cold 🥶 actually it is 20 which normally isn’t cold at all but the rain doesn’t help.

Re: My Mosaic

It's going to be 29 degrees here tomorrow @Bow

Then it'll be in the 30s in the days after.

My day has been pretty good. But when I came home, my niece had broken a glass jar on my sister's bed... oops!

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow I actually haven't for AGES. Not as much as I have been with this book! I totally get you though, it's especially the case where it's a dense book, like very wordy. I've had better success with audiobooks! You tried that?
