Re: Morning has broken

Good morning @Emelia8

Just leaving some 💗💗for you.

@Eve7 wishing you a good day today hon. Are there any good groups that you can go to today?

Sending some 💌💌your way too.

Re: Morning has broken

Thanks @Snowie I spoke to my own pdoc this morning and missed group but I did go to the gym for a while. Trying to make an effort to come out of my room.

Are you watching the Olympic Games? I’m enjoying it so far but looking forward to the athletics starting.

I hope today goes well for you 💚💛💚

Re: Morning has broken

I never knew your hospital has a gym in it @Eve7 that's pretty cool.

It can be hard to come out of our room. It feels like a little bit of a safe haven. Also you don't have to interact with others.

Any talk yet of when you will be allowed home?

I hope talking to your own pdoc went well hon. I have an appt. with my pdoc this afternoon.

Yes been watching the Olympics. Haven't stayed up and watched anything. They replay events multiple times the next day. It will be good when the Athletics start. I like watching the races.

Re: Morning has broken

I hope your appointment with pdoc goes well @Snowie and you can be open with him.

The gym is only small but it’s good to have it here and there’s also an exercise physiologist who will help with programs etc.

I used to officiate at athletics so I know some of the Australian athletes competing. I’m getting very excited for it all.

Re: Morning has broken

Hi dear @Eve7  just stopping by to say hi and to remind you that I’m thinking of you. 💕💕

Re: Morning has broken

Hi @Eve7

I love the idea of an exercise physiologist. Especially when they can help set out a plan.

We had a walking group every now and then but thats it.

I opened up to the pdoc. He thinks a hospital or ECT fortnightly if my thoughts continue along the same path. See him again in two weeks.

That's really cool that you know some of the athletes competing at the games hon. Not many people can say that they do. Are you going to get up through the night to watch them live?

Re: Morning has broken

I find the exercise physiologist really helpful @Snowie and I recently read a paper on the use of nutrition and exercise as a treatment for mood disorders. I’ll look at it again and see if I can post the link. It was by a professor at Deakin University.

Hi @Bow sending you a heap of love 💚💛💚

Re: Morning has broken

My psych is a big one for exercising @Eve7, especially if it means me getting out of the house, but that's another topic within itself.

I can believe that exercise and mood/depression are very much linked.

Re: Morning has broken

I'm very sorry for your loss, @Emelia8 😥

Especially coming on top of your other losses.

I hope everything goes smoothly with your long trip and the funeral on Monday 🤞

Re: Morning has broken

@Eve7 How exciting for you to watch the athletes you know 🙂

@Snowie How do you feel about fortnightly ECT? I know it's a big hassle getting there. .
