@Eve7  Sounds gread Eve7. I wont have to dress green for the event as pea is already a beautiful shade of green :D:D. Although I do have a green dress somewhere courtesy of @Zoe7  which I will wear. xxx

Re: Good Morning!

Had never heard of that @Eve7 thanks Tab is a bit partial to bowls of Guiness and Kilkenny not to mention Jamesons lol

Re: Good Morning!

Wonderful idea @Eve7

I have reconnected with my Irish side late in life.  Plenty of good culture beyond the alcohol or the stereotype of drinkers.  Remind me to do a Bloomsday.

Cheers

Re: Good Morning!

No irish side here @Appleblossom , just Brummies and middle European Prussian wannabes lol

Re: Good Morning!

@Former-Member

I am alright.  Dropped son off at station.Agreed for him to have a week holiday at home.  Was challenged a bit in pdoc and then gp appointments, as to why I leave an opening for him. Think you @Eve7 @Bunniekins @Anastasia  and other mums of grown men will understand.

We love our MEN and inspite of my natural support for women's issues, I m wary of too much tossing around toxic masculinity ideas, or toxic anything for that matter .... I was never big on blame games, but have been blamed for a lot ... sadly.

Heart rate high after session, tho I do know she was looking out for me which is good.  We agreed to have next session in fortnight.  I told her NOT to worry about me, but she replied she will be GLAD TO SEE ME then and will be thinking of me.  I had told her I felt more supported now than I did as a child or a wife and mother.  .I have 2 events to look forward to, so that also reassured my gp.

Re: Good Morning!

@Appleblossom  Hey beautiful xxx my sons were born and brought up in the ACT which is very leftist politically. My eldest said to me early on as a white, male here in Australia he felt like he had done something bad and as a mother of my sons I can understand where he is coming from. People will disagree with me but I stand by my son's comments and he is not racist or sexist.

Re: Good Morning!

I had GP/counsellor like 20 years ago @Appleblossom had good rapport I went ahead in leaps and bounds, felt comfortable telling things I wouldn't tell anyone else.
One time he made throw away comment he was being my father. I was early 30s then . Guess I only had a father on xmas and birthdays , taskmaster/punisher/non communicative rest of time So twice a year would get a smile.

Re: Good Morning!

Yep similar situation with my son @Bunniekins

I say to him I cannot go against my sex, but even I do not like some of the attitudes out there.  It makes it harder to be a better bloke.  We all need environments that bring out the best of us, and not be labelled wrong from the get go.
