I had a great time at the art exhibition @Zoe7.  The work was very reflective of mine, which was great to see as it is quite old and has lasted surprisingly well ❣️  The artist is no longer living, but is quite revered in this town, so I felt really chuffed that there were strong parallels with my work.  The friend who came with me thought so too ......

My.exhibition interview was cancelled, but for reasons to do with the gallery, and it was quite clear that they were looking forward to seeing my work, which is really exciting.  We have had to re-book, but that just gives me a little more time to tweak it.

Thanks @Zoe7 .... it felt like a good day.  I am still a bit numb and exhausted, but things like this help to tip the balance back in the right direction.  Trying to just float mostly, till this passes.

Hon you are in the midst of a torrent of shite so every day that you can have like today is a real light in the darkness. These days will increase as things continue to get sorted and you will be able to live the life you deserve. Take the wins (I know you do) and let them sustain you when you have to face the rest of the crap!!! I would do anything to stop this all for you and have nothing but light shine on your life @Faith-and-Hope You are getting there and we are all still walking with you

Thank you @Anastasia I am going to keep busy until the footy this afternoon. It would be lovey for our girls to win the final - would give me that lift and a great memory for this day going forward. Going to head out and do my shopping then call the vet when they open because Tobes still has not gone to the toilet. I will come back to see theimage when I return home. Have done the shopping - just need to put it all away ...have a little squishy face following me around on one side in between zoomies and Tobes on the other side so going to take time to put everything away without stepping on a fur baby lol Cat is on her chair - probably saying 'my siblings are craaazy'.

Called the vet because Tobes has not yet been to the toilet but they are not concerned because he is eating, drinking, looks much brighter, is not straining and is generally back to his old self. I can give him some mashed pumpkin if he goes another day without going to the toilet so will need another quick trip to the supermarket later just in case.

I need to head out again anyway to get some small tins of paint to do some work for school so I can do it all at once. I will take Tobes for a ride as it is cool enough for him to stay in the car for a few minutes. Then I can come home, do some work outside, have a shower, put the washing on and be ready for the women's grandfinal this afternoon.
