Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Hi @Emelia8 , how are you doing? Enjoying your hot water? 😄

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

@Emelia8  Thanks for your reply a few days ago.

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Thank you, @Anastasia , I like it 🙂

Please take care of yourself 💙

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

@Maggie  thank you for not thinking I'm weird for sleeping on top of the covers in my clothes. I'm sorry you also have trouble getting clothes on and off - it would be very difficult, with pain all over 😞

I got a surprise this morning. My cleaning help arrived. I presumed they would all be on holiday this time of year. I have a clean flat now. It has been a disaster, as I haven’t been up to keeping it tidy lately. I appreciate the help.

Was that OK, that they arrived suddenly? I'm glad your flat is tidy now 🙂 I empathise with the 'disaster' bit.

Yesterday, instead of tidying the house, I fixated on a small area, my 3 hardware shelves...I had garden stuff, light globes, extension cords, tools, tape, batteries, glue, nails and oddments all shoved in together, falling off the shelves whenever I tried to remove anything. I spent 2 hours tidying and sorting them, and now they are all neat and in order! I also threw out a lot of old useless stuff. So I feel very pleased, as I haven't been able to tackle those shelves for years. I realise that I need to be tidying the house itself though...I have an inspection due in January.

Is your painting student coming this week?

Off for more and leaving one for you with some 💜

Thanks so much for popping in, @Former-Member ! And for your good wishes and hugs 🙂 Sending them right back to you with some 💚

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

@NatureLover  I smiled a very understanding smile reading about your sorting stuff. Very satisfying once done, but it can take time to get A into G. Well done.

It was ok enough with cleaning help, as I had tidied a bit in the lounge. She’s lovely, and would have a coffee if it was awkward. I have paint, stones and canvas ALL around the flat, from bathroom, bedroom, to lounge. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😂😂

Waiting to hear from painting student. She rang last Saturday and said she will let me know. I don’t run around getting organised any more, I let it happen, unusual for me, but I ran around for nothing too many times. More relaxed about it now. I have a very loud wooden thing she might put in her garden. Over the top for me, but she like colour. I couldn’t finish it, I became dazzled.  I hope she can finish it. 😂😂

Slow start for me today. Heading for my second ️ now.

Take care. 💜💜💜

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

@Maggie  Yes, very satisfying doing the sorting. On the one hand, I am really pleased as that's the sort of urge I need, to reduce my hoarding. If I could tackle a small section like that regularly, it would be good. On the other hand, it could also be seen as a failure to tackle the unfunctional kitchen...lol.

Lucky you had tidied a bit before she arrived...I'm so glad she's lovely. I imagine your flat is very small, if you have all your creative work spread out everywhere. I ended up getting rid of all my art supplies as they took up soooo much room, and I didn't have the emotional energy to paint any more.

I read this as an (audibly) loud wooden thing, before I realised that you meant a visually loud thing! Hehe. Dazzled, wow, it must be loud! I'm glad you're more relaxed about her coming now, with less stressing by the sound of it.

I am hoping to tackle the kitchen floor today, and clear it of bags of stuff that have been sitting there for ages. Also wash the bags (I have about 30 cloth grocery bags that I wash each time). I don't have much energy or motivation today...we''ll have to see.

I hope you enjoy the time with your painting student, if she comes. It's lovely chatting to you. 💜
