Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

@outlander  I miss you. I hope you're coping OK. I hope that next year is a much better year for you. You see the pain specialist soon, I think...when is that? Sending 💙

@NatureLover  There usually are fireworks for new year, but it doesn’t worry furbaby at all. She sleeps like a log. 😂😂

Purple is one of my favourite colours, so it’s a good choice. 💜💜

How are you doing ? Thanks for the

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Happy to hear your furbaby isn't worried about the fireworks, @Maggie , that's good news 🙂

I'm doing fine, thankfully, and am enjoying having no SAD due to the sunny weather lately. It makes such a huge difference. I am getting a little concerned that I still feel totally unable to face the wider forums, though. I know it will take time...guess I just have to be patient. It's a great comfort to me that you and others are willing to chat to me here on this thread, so I don't feel totally disconnected. Thank you so much Heart

I'm enjoying the cool sunny days at the moment...I see you are having similar cool mild days.

I can't remember (sorry) if you have to take a break from counselling over the holidays, if your counsellor is away? I hope it's not too long a break.

You are special, Maggie. Thanks for being you. 💜

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

@NatureLover  Maybe try moving to one other thread ( when you feel ready ), and stick to that for a while. You don’t ever need to spread out too far, something I am learning.

Our weather is perfect for me this year. Still cool enough for a doona at night. I love the comfort of my doona. Plus I don’t need to water too much. I just remembered to turn the tap off outside. 😂😂

My counsellor is off for 2 weeks. Nothing compared to you and many others. She will ring and have a chat during that time. She is such a gift to me and her other clients. I am grateful she is in my life. We are heading into our 16th year of working together. Sometimes, when the world seems too dark, I think of the light she shines.

You are very special @NatureLover 💜💜💜💜

You are so sensible and practical, @Maggie . That hadn't occurred to me, but it's a very good idea. I had been thinking in terms of trying to take on the full load all at once. I'm not ready yet to branch out to one other thread, but it will be the plan for when I am.

I'm glad it's only 2 weeks, with a chat in the middle. The world needs more people like that. My psychologist is also one of those people.

I do too, but I hardly ever permit myself to get under it, lol. It's a strange problem 😄 Well, it's not even a problem. I sleep mostly in all my clothes on top of the doona. I have a blanket I can put over me if it's cold. I only started doing it regularly this year, for a few reasons...our units had a trespasser in the early hours of the morning, hammering on doors (and worse, but I won't mention what) early on this year, so I felt nervous about getting into my nightie and into bed. I also don't generally permit myself to get into a clean bed if I'm not clean myself...also the bursitis in my shoulders make it a bit painful to get undressed /dressed again. I know, it's a bit of a strange, habit, lol! 😄 It sure does feel luxurious to get under the doona.

I'm enjoying too not having to water the garden much so far.

I'm happy you felt up to a bit of chatting this morning, as it means I think that you're feeling a bit better?

You're a dear person, @Maggie . 💜

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

@NatureLover  I’m sorry you had a trespasser earlier in the year. Staying dressed makes perfect sense to me, for both reasons, the pain as well. I have a lot of trouble getting clothes on and off because of pain, it sucks.

I got a surprise this morning. My cleaning help arrived. I presumed they would all be on holiday this time of year. I have a clean flat now. It has been a disaster, as I haven’t been up to keeping it tidy lately. I appreciate the help.

Take care of yourself.💜💜💜

Good morning @NatureLover @Maggie 😄💞
