Gosh ... housework is a very poor alternative to a visit to the very beautiful PM area.
I know PM fairly well, and in fact will be spending time there myself in a couple of weeks. 😔
How was your walk this afternoon with your Son? Did you get caught out in the rain by any chance?
I agree with you that its kinda nice getting soaked from the rain ... fond memories from childhood where you simply didnt mind getiting soaked to the skin and hair a dripping mess. Silly really ... now it somehow matters about the wet hair. Whats really changed from when we were young? I still like walking through puddles and walking in the rain. Although my husband reprimands me and tells me I'm a silly little girl when I do so. But I dont like getting my hair wet, so take an umbrella these days. I have no problem getting soaked elsewhere, just the hair. Dont understand.

Perhaps you could plan to travel further North and visit Cape Byron Lighthouse. It's located at the most Easterly point of the Australian mainland. Here is a picture for you.
