Mr Darcy is getting weaker, fatigue has set in, the palliative care nurse equated this fatigue to a battery that loses its capacity to recharge with the maximum charge attainable getting less and less.
@Former-Member ... its a very accurate analogy. I'm really sorry that is happening to Mr Darcy. It sounds like it wont be long now, and all we can ask is that he is kept comfortable and pain free for as long as possible. Please take care of yourself in the process Darcy. Hubby is doing ok. Still battling with his decreased strength since treatment. Being a paraplegic his upper body strength is so important for his mobility and transferring. Next check up with chemo oncologist in a few weeks.
