Re: My Mosaic

@Snowie  That house was a bad house mental health wise. My mh declined terrible there. It’s where my ED started. My first very serious attempt.

but it’s where I found sane.

currently sitting on the couch in the dark. We lost power at some point last night… energy provider have been around the street all day and it’s still not back on.

how’s your day been?

Re: My Mosaic

Sounds like it has a lot of history behind it @Bow

Hopefully some nice new memories can be made in your new house. I guess a bit of a new start.

Thats no good about your power hon. Hoping that they can get it back on quickly for you.

My day was ok. An early morning again so will be in bed early tonight.

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @AuntGlow

My fav plants are the pathos variety… love watching them grow and they are super easy to propagate. Some of mine are really long. Love peace lily’s. I had some lovely plants.

My new mattress arrives today. Need to inbox it and let it expand. Should be able to sleep on it tomorrow night. Then just need to wait for my bed frame to get here.

Hmm mum and I are watching 24. We are up to season 7. Tomorrow we need to get some groceries. Thursday I see my psychologist. Friday my daughter is participating in zone cross country. Saturday we are going to ikea. So maybe Sunday I can be lazy and do nothing!

oh I usually really bad at drinking water. I forget to drink. And then I don’t drink much as part of my ED. That gets really bad. But then a newish med that I am on makes me crazy thirsty. I had a period of time where I was drink 9lts a day. My gp freaked out! She told me max 3lts. I drink more than that, but I try not to do 9 anymore. But if ya really thirsty, ya gotta drink. I like ice cold water, with ice, and sugar free cordial.

Just fixed our power issue! So on the couch watching my shows.

what did you get up to today?

Re: My Mosaic

I’m really tired. I’m really sore. Think I’m feeling a bit run down and feel a bug brewing.

Re: My Mosaic

Heya @Bow ,

How's the move? I'm sorry to hear you feel run down!

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @tyme

Move is all complete now. Keys handed back yesterday arvo… real estate was a jerk.
now to unpack.

how are you?

i wanted to ask… did you get to do any sight seeing while in US?

Re: My Mosaic

Are you okay to talk? I don't want to prevent you from resting.

Sorry to hear the real estate wasn't the best @Bow . Sounds horrible to be honest.

I can't say I went 'sight seeing' so much. I only saw what was 'in the way' of what I was doing. For example, I went to Times Square (but it was too busy for me); I went to the 9/11 memorial museum; saw Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge...

But no, I didn't go out of my way to see anything. I guess it doesn't really excite me so much lol.

I loved the beach in Florida though. That's more my thing.

Re: My Mosaic

Yep, I’m on the couch watching tv @tyme

I actually just had a phone call from our new landlord (we had a power outage yesterday, all day. Something effecting random houses in the street. But once it was fixed it didn’t turn all our lights back on downstairs). He called to tell me how to fix the problem. He was really nice and told me to call if there is ever a problem. Prefer the if we can fix it quickly and easily that way instead of all the rigmarole of the agent. Which we are fine with! Nice change from our last LL and RE.

I bet the 9/11 memorial was…. Hmm moving? Amazing? I’d really like to see it. I still very very vividly remember where I was and what I was doing that morning. We watched something on it recently too

When I travel to new places… I wanna be out and seeing everything and anything! No resting when I travel! Lol

Re: My Mosaic

I'm not usually fazed by anything, so the idea of going to see a bridge or a building is not very interesting to me. It's more the ability to just be out of the normal routine that is helpful.

I went to the m&m shop in Times Square and got the kids' photos/faces printed on a jar or m&ms. The kids loved that! @Bow Actaully, I really like the m&m shop. It was so innovative. There were handbags made out of m&m packets.

I have to say I REALLY enjoyed the 9/11 memorial museum though. That part I enjoyed. I love history and piecing things together.
