Hey @ArraDreaming I haven't been around for a while - had a lot on and HATE this new format so not sure I will be here much in the future. I did want to check in with you though ...I actually miss you when I am not around and wanted to let you know that ❤️

How are you going
My son got his cast off and pins out today, he is still in the hospital and staying overnight for monitoring as a few things happened but he is ok he is with mum
In lots of pain though my little man

I got my splint off my thumb today too so you can tell him we are twinsies...

Still needing to be careful and still have the compression bandages on for a bit longer but I can do a bit more now.

@Zoe7 he screamed getting the cast off and had to be operated on to get the pins out they said they usually can do it without surgery but because he is so little they err on the side of caution as it is very painful
I went into visit and he was very sad
Sling for a couple more weeks so no bike riding just yet

I can understand that re the surgery for such a little fella @ArraDreaming 

Yeah I crushed the end of my thumb so it has taken a bit of time to heal. I am still having issues with the forefinger also but both should be okay with time.

School is hectic ...and I am very tired, but once the next couple of weeks are over I should be able to breathe a bit before the end of year chaos begins.

Yeah but home tomorrow and he will be ok, when I went he was not long off waking up so was very groggy, once he is home will be ok
It was a very long wait and the surgery kept getting pushed back all day
Thankfully my mother in law came down to help out and be around so tonight i could visit without having to worry too much about the little kids

Next thing you know end of year Christmas things and excursions happen

We have our grade play to perform in just over a week, then again on that following weekend. Followed by an excursion, lots of testing, reporting, parent meetings and end of year things after all that @ArraDreaming I know the next 8 weeks are going to fly by and by that time I am sure I will be a walking zombie lol

How did the school fair go @Zoe7 you had a stall or something didn’t you?

Yes we did @ArraDreaming We made a bit of money - which I have pretty much spent this evening shopping for the play 😁. We sold out of most things really quickly - and could have doubled our money if we had more to sell. At least I will know next year to have more available.

I was going to advertise in our newsletter that we could make more bird houses (they were gone in the first half an hour) but I just don't think I will have time with the kids to make more. I will wait until after the play is done to see how we are travelling time wise - and if I can get some more parent help to do them and then make a decision.
