Thanks @Zoe7 we just had a look at it but I have no energy and i am too focused on making the trip away with my family really fun and I just can’t be bothered I feel like crap everytime I look at things for work I can’t do if @Zoe7

it’s going to pour rain after the first night so we think we might just come back earlier if it ends up being a weather disaster our 2 older kids can cope a bit better in the bad weather they don’t mind playing in the rain its just the baby and our tent isnt massive to sit @Zoe7

If it does rain as much as you are expecting then it is probably a good idea to come home earlier @ArraDreaming especially as you said, you have the baby to think about. It will be disappointing if you cannot stay the entire time but your safety is most important. Maybe you could pitch the tent in the yard when you get home for the bigger kids - I am asuming you have a yard - if not make a cubby in the house for them to sleep in for a couple of nights.

we havebig yard especially considering we are in suburbia @Zoe7 big enough for the kids, dog and veggie patch
going to test out the tent today because we are borrowing it so havent fully put it up and down yet

I just cant look at any to do with work and the application for the job I was looking at is too hard

Did I tell you that since I got sick I lost hearing in one of my ears? It has not come back yet @Zoe7

No I did not know about your hearing. That would be really hard. You have certainly been through a lot lately but you are handling it all so well 👍❤️

My advice would be to leave all that work stuff in the back of your mind (even better - put it in a box and leave at the back of a cupboard) right now and concentrate wholly on your trip. If you are worrying about looking for work, you will not enjoy the trip - even if it is only for a few days. We will tackle the job situation when you get back ❤️

Thank you for caring I’m just hands full with kids stuff @Zoe7 lol my son has been collecting cans and plastic bottles for a long time to cash in at the can depot so we are going to go there so he can get his money @Zoe7

I hope your son gets a few dollars - such a lovely way for him to understand the value of money @ArraDreaming We used to have can refunds when I was about your son's age but that went. They are talking about bringing it back in ...and if they do you may very well find me walking the roads to find cans for a little extra money lol

I used to do a lot of online surveys which built up to rewards ...most I could transfer to my paypal account and others I could get vouchers. I don't have the time when I am at work but I may need to start again to get some extra cash in these holidays.

I actually don't drink. I did when I was younger but always hated beer - even the smell of it. I think that had a lot to do with my Dad as he drank beer and was a terrible person when he had had a few. He gave up a long time ago and doesn't even have the occasional drink.
