Good Morning family of God. Love that scripture @Former-Member  - thanks for the reminder.  That's one amazing thing having faith. Never really alone. Interesting one of Jesus' last words in the flesh were "I am always with you" (or something to that affect) And He left us "A comforter" which I see as a kinda communication device, undectable by the world (safe) so He can always be there. it's not in my nature to be so resilient with my faith in Jesus, through everything, so I see it as a gift from God (my mustard seed) because He knew I'd need it, to get this far. Always prompted to believe 💜

It seems my journey is to work through the institutionalised aspects of church and state.   Oddly or not so oddly, the good people I come in contact with these days are still strongly influenced by Christianity, and not all in one place under one roof ...

Keep Well

Re: Christian Chat

Today is sad for me because the police presence on Djab Warrung country is huge and many are arrested and suffering.  I will not let it destroy me. It confirms my attitudes about rampant pseudo progress.

I value all the good wishes and return in kind. @Eve7

Re: Christian Chat

That is really sad @Appleblossom  and should never have been allowed to occur.

My nephew’s placenta was planted by a Jacaranda tree even though it’s not a native tree, it was special to my sister and I would protest if it was going to be removed.

😢

Re: Christian Chat

That is an empowering act by your nephews mother. @Eve7

I apologise if my post about the indigenous Birthing tree and surrounds was off topic.  For me I see it as all connected.  My immigrant maternal Grandmother made a Tree of Life Wall hanging and my paternal grandmother travelled by train along the path where the protests are.  She travelled in great shame as a young pregnant unmarried woman to give up her baby, my father.  He and I never met more Australian family, so my connections are through other forms ... their is the landform called the pregnant woman pointing towards the trees ... all symbolic. I also studied Terrain Analysis in unimelb field trips in the area ... so that is my story.
