50 today ... gee, I remember turning 50. We were in Brisbane for my birthday and I have a picture of hubby and I on a river cruise to celebrate my 50th. It was very nice, a happy time. Ahh so the BF is a few months younger than you. Yes I expect he will be calling you 'the old girl' ... in a lighthearted way of course. 💓 Really happy that he is helping out with your boys this morning.
My plans for today was not a lot. I did another load of washing this morning while there was some sun around to dry clothes. And its meant to be wet for next several days, so thought I should do a load today. Have you got your washing machine working again?
I had a nice morning cuppa out on our deck in the warm sunshine. I trimmed my furbaby's nails ... something she hates. And she ran and hid under the bed when she saw me getting the necessary equipment. I had to go in and drag her out, poor little girl. But job done now and she has since forgiven me. 😊🐶
Then I trimmed hubby's beard for him whilst outside enjoying the sunshine. Thankfully I didnt have to drag him out from under the bed when he saw me with the shaver gear 🤣 ha ha. Its one of the jobs he can no longer do for himself, with his Parkinsons.
I have just finished preparing dinner ... trying a new recipe tonight, using left over roast chook. Chicken, sweet potato, green peas, cheezy white sauce all over top of a bed of cooked rice and baked. Should be okay.
I exect you will be getting ready to head out for dinner by now, or maybe even already gone. Hope its lovely for you all and that you have a very special evening ... just like you deserve. Much love.
