Yep , when it was good it was amazing and wonderful . . When there was a break down in the relationship the connection was toxic and downright unpleasant .

The confidence one really riles me up sometimes. But before I get on my high horse about the impact of ridiculous standards of beauty and the influence of porn, can I just check where you think your low confidence is coming from? It might be something else entirely.

Hi everyone.
Sorry I'm late. Somehow I missed out on notifications.
I've had computer issues for the last few hours, wiping out my entire afternoon.
I had indicated (Like button) that I wanted to participate.
Thanks.
Adge

It may be a little easier for me as a carer to my husband and perhaps as a woman - from what I understand from others, blokes will avail themselves as often as their missus makes themselves available (although I have had a few knock backs when Mr D not travelling well but have not withheld if he has instigated intimacy).

What's interesting about orgasms in this context @Shakeelah25, is that many of the survey participants felt that they needed to stop making this the goal of sex. When sex becomes 'performance' related, with a particular goal such as an orgasm, it can become intimidating rather than pleasurable. Particularly if there are medications involved that make achieving an orgasm even harder. So people choose to focus on the quality of their connection without that pressure.

Sorry @Adge that was my fault. I couldn't find you when I was @ mentioning all those who wanted to come. But I think I was spelling your name wrong. Glad you found us and please know that you're very welcome.
